The fourth trimester is fleeting, messy & magical


There’s something truly magical about watching a mother love her babies especially in the raw, tender days of the fourth trimester. I recently had the honour of photographing Chloe, a beautiful mother of two boys, during a golden sunset motherhood session at Beacon Fell in Lancashire. This shoot was more than just capturing smiles, it was about celebrating the quiet strength of motherhood, the bond between siblings, and the intimate moments of breastfeeding and connection that often go unseen.

Breastfeeding & the mother-baby dyad


One of the most powerful parts of Chloe’s session was capturing the intimate moments of her breastfeeding journey. There’s something so beautifull about the quiet, in-between moments. The way a mother gazes at her baby, lost in the connection between you and your little one, that’s where the magic truly lives. My motherhood sessions are family centred, baby focused and always led by you.

Family Photography at Beacon Fell


Beacon Fell Country Park was the perfect location for this shoot. Nestled in the Lancashire countryside, it offers stunning views, wooded trails, and beautiful lighting especially at golden hour. As the sun dipped behind the trees, the light wrapped around Chloe and her boys. Her baby fed calmly as the sky turned amber, and her toddler wandered, curious and content, returning often to check in and climb into her arms.


This is the kind of session that reminds me why I do this work.
